Mia’s love for playing and imagination came early when she was diagnosed with neuroblastoma as an infant. No matter the treatments, trial medication, or hospital stays, Mia’s mom, Beth worked to make sure Mia always utilized her creativity and imagination wherever they were. “We would bring in things of Mia’s to make the hospital stays more comfortable."
Mia completed her final cancer treatment earlier this year and today she is a vibrant five year old who loves to play, imagine, and create.
Mia has a playroom in her house, sure- but with a younger brother and sister, Mia wanted a place to call her very own and what better wish than her very own playhouse!
With the help of Timbercraft Homes, Mia’s wish was officially granted on September 27th, 2015! Friends from all over the nation flew and drove in to see Mia’s wish come to life, and to finally watch this new cancer-free chapter in her life begin.
