Kamryn has a progressive blood disorder and when the team of wish granters met with 4-year-old Kamryn, she made her wish very clear; she wanted a pink playhouse with a vanity inside. Kamryn loves princesses and the colors pink and purple, so her wish made perfect sense!
On Saturday, June 26, 2010 Kamryn received her wish and so much more! Her wish granters worked so hard to make the surprise spectacular for the entire family. Complete with two cakes, cookies, barbeque weenies, Princess Jasmine, friends and family, this wish reveal party embodied everything about our mission to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. When Kamryn arrived at her home in Oklahoma City, she was greeted first by Princess Jasmine, who sang her a song and gave her a proclamation letter declaring her wish official.
After a long day and a lot of hard work, Make-A-Wish ® Oklahoma granted another extremely successful wish. Special thanks to Kamryn’s wish granting volunteers, Kirby Nickolas, Marilyn Shaw and Vera Puls. Additionally, Make-A-Wish® Oklahoma would like to thank Cedar Built USA for helping to Share the Power of a Wish®!
